Surveillance codename generator
Cold War project-codename generator. Spin up a plausible-sounding surveillance programme for your next side project.
About this tool
Invents Cold War-flavoured surveillance programme codenames, complete with a declassified-style excerpt. The word lists are drawn from public reporting on real surveillance tooling. All of the output is made up.
Good for
- Naming a side project, a branch, or a test environment
- Placeholder names in demos and slides
Not for
- Research: the names and excerpts are fabricated and describe no real programme
- Anything you'd need to check isn't already a trademark
